As there are the first englishspeaking persons who are interested in our project, I opened a english section and I tried to translate the Homepage into english.
Take a look at the english Home of MySQLDumper here: http://www.mysqldumper.net .
Of course my english is not the best but I hope you all can understand me. 
What is this all about?
MySqlDumper is a PHP/Perl-Backupscript for backing up all data of your MySQL-database.
This script can handle big dumps (no matter how big your db is).
You can email the database to your email-account or you can submit it to a ftp-server.
There are no limits - the script can handle every backupsize (no PHP-timeout ).
A perlscript can be used via a cronjob - so you can lay back and relax because your dump is always delivered by mail or ftp .
Just download the script, Installation now is very easy:
- Upload the uncompressed Files and folders to your Webspace (e.g. http://your.server/mysqldumper/)
- start the script in your browser and follow installation steps
- and be happy with the backup of your database. :-)
You will find some screenshots inside this thread.
Questions, answers and comments are welcome.
Have fun with this.
You always will find the current version in the first message on the top of the portal-page. (That´s the site that you can see when you click "Home")
Dont be afraid to download it - you will find an english installer when you start the script.

Hi DSB and thanks for relasing this nice program as FLOSS.
I'm wondering how do I get announcements by email when a new version of the program is released, and/or patches to security holes released also, etc.
