I want to congratulate the dev team for such a useful software.
I tried to import a utf8 database via phpmyadmin. I had set everything right (DEFAULT CHARACTER SET utf8 DEFAULT COLLATE utf8_general_ci, Character set of the file utf8, etc.). But the result was that values with non ascii characters (like the German Umlaut) were systematically cut-off in the imported database. I still cannot figure out what is wrong, but in one of the forums I was browsing, someone suggested using mysqldumper.
mysqldumper actually solves the problem. Besides, it gives some nice information about the import progress, and gives more information and control than phpmyadmin.
Thank you and keep up the good work!

Once again, I want to iterate my compliments to the team on such a useful and reliable software. Finding both useful and reliable software is rare these days (especially for free).
