It is up to you to find out why your server delivers a 404 error although the files are present.
From our point of view all criterias are fulfilled and Perl should work. If it doesn't, it's up to your host to investigate what's going wrong. Without access to the server we can't know what's going wrong in your case.

Yeah, what I meant with my previous post is about if is there any way to launch the script without MSD, through the browser, for example, since it's what the hosting support is asking for. If not so, thank you anyway for your time Wink

Go to the backup page, change to "Backup PERL" and you find "URL for the browser or for external Cron job:" at the bottom of the page followed by the URL to manually start the perl cronscript from within your browser.

Yeah, I knew that, what I meant is if there is a way to launch the testing options from browser. Anyway, I'll start with the CRON job.

Just let your browser point to the URL of the simpletest or perltest script.

Like http://yourdomain.com/msd/msd_cron/simpletest.pl
Or http://yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/perltest.pl
