How do I get MySQLDumper (1.21, but 1.22 looks the same in this respect) to backup several (but not all) of my databases and ftp them?

I can get it to do one, but not more than that.

I have had a look through the forums, help, & FAQ, but can't find anything in English that tells me.

I'm using the perl backup (which still seems to be the only way?).

Regards
Mark

Got to config, check the databases you want to backup and check "activate Multidump".
Then click "Cronscript", check option "no" for "Use actual database". A selectlist will appear below - select "Multidump configuration" and save the config.
Thats it. Wink

Many thanks!

I'd got half way there, but the wording "use actual database" doesn't mean much to me I'm afraid.

Thanks again
Mark

You are right. Maybe it would be better to always show the selectlist but disable it. This way the user could see what options are available.

I think I will make this change in the next version of MySQLDumper. Wink

Or perhaps change the text?

Do you mean "Backup single database" or something like that?

Anyway, it worked perfectly, many thanks!

Mark

I mean the database that is actually selected in the selectlist on the left side in the menuframe. What would be a better text?
